Sorry for the long hiatus but I guess with all the trips and preparation we had to be involved with for Kevin and Rachel's wedding, I just couldn't find enough time to edit the photos. It was a mad 2 weeks of activities and by the time the wedding was over, even the heng-tais and ji-muis were shagged.

Here are my first attempt at High Dynamic Range (HDR) Imaging. What it basically involves is taking a set of photographs of a same scene with different exposure settings, then overlapping these photos together to bring out all the details. It often produces a photo with exaggerated colour. Obviously these aren't the best that can be done and I've got my work cut out for me but you will definitely see more of these kinda photos from me. They're one of my favourite effects.
If you are curious as to how the initial photos look like before the effect, here they are:

We were driving home from dinner and as I came to a stop at the traffic light outside my house, I was treated to a breathtaking sight of the entire sky being lit up by the perfectly round full moon. It seemed almost unreal and as if someone has stuck a giant poster of it up in the air.
Rushed home to grab the camera and took what I could manage from my porch. Hopefully I'll be able to drive out somewhere better to take a nicer shot of the full moon before it gets eaten up. Too bad it was too cloudy when I grabbed this shot.

I guess it's inevitable that I would start another blog just to post some of the photographs that I will be taking in the future and rather than putting them up in my main blog, I suppose it makes more sense to just manage them here.
Well more photos soon.
